Raven’s Progressive Matrices is a nonverbal test, typically used to measure general human fluid intelligence and abstract reasoning. The ability to think clearly and make sense of complexity (educative ability) and the ability to store and reproduce information (reproductive ability). Measuring cognitive abilities are highly relevant for pilots. It will indicate the ability to perceive and think clearly, make meaning out of confusion and formulate concepts when faced with complex information.
